Pastor: Doug Stilwell

Doug is a native of Hardinsburg in Breckinridge County and is a graduate of Breckinridge County High School. 

He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work.  Doug was employed as a social worker with the Commonwealth of Kentucky for 25 years.

Upon his retirement in 1999, Doug entered the Louisville Presbyterian Seminary full-time and earned a Master of Divinity Degree.  Prior to accepting the appointment at Bethel, Doug served for 10 years as a part-time pastor for the rural Sample United Methodist Church in Breckinridge County.

Doug is married to Nancy who was a public school music teacher until her retirement in 2001.  They have two grown children, Angel and Michael.  Angel is married to Jody Long and they have two children, Bryan Douglas and Jackson Stephen.  Michael is married to Amber and they live in Georgia.

Director of Youth Ministries: Wallace Votaw

Wallace is a native of Mount Washington in Bullitt County.  He graduated from Bullitt Central High School and later received an Associate Degree in Accounting and another in Liberal Arts from the University of Kentucky (JCC). 

He began working as a laborer for Monarch Hardware in October of 1983.  He was then
promoted to Stock Manger and is now Inventory Control Manager.  In 2002 he took a second job with IGA (a local grocery) were he has the pleasure of teaching young adults the
beginnings of business management. 

Wallace was appointed Director of Youth Ministries, were he gladly accepts the challenge of
directing and teaching young adults. 

Wallace is married to Sue and has one son, Jeremy.

Director of Children's Ministries & Administrative Assistant: Jill Starkey

Jill is a native of Mount Washington in Bullitt County and is a 1989 graduate from Bullitt East High School.  She continued her education in New Paltz, New York where she received a Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy from State University of New York. 
As she pursued her degree, she also worked  with mentally and physically disabled children and adults at the United Cerebral Palsy and Cardinal Hayes Home for Children.

Jill was a stay at home mom raising her two sons before she went back to work.  She was employed for one and a half years by the Mother's Day Out Program at First Baptist Church in Mount Washington before accepting the position of Director of Children's Ministries and
Administrative Assistant at Bethel. 

Jill is married to Todd who is employed by Ford Motor Company and they have two boys, Kyle and Nicholas.
